Beating the January Blues
How Exercise Can Improve Your Winter Mindset
January can feel like a year in itself to be fair!
Long days, nobody has any money, everyone seems ‘depressed’. Nobody wants to do anything because they are on a diet that they promised they would stick to.
A Lot of people get really down in the dumps in January and can have a high time of depression and a general low mood and a fragile mindset.
That doesn’t have to be you.
And if you are feeling that way or you know someone who is feeling that way then i urge you to do the following:
- Read everything I will share with you
- Take action with it
- Share it with a friend
- Be accountable to yourself
- Take the plunge and contact Mind Your Fitness for more direct support
If you are a long time reader and or you know a bit about Mind Your Fitness, then you will know that we do EVERYTHING with one goal , which is to improve your mental health. And we love to use exercise as the best tool for that.
We are here to build confidence and strength, inside and out!!
By now, in 2025. We know the positive impact that exercise has on the body and mind, it cheers us up, makes us stronger, more confident.
Releasing hormones and endorphins, we are all chasing that happy feeling and in my opinion and hundreds more out there, there is no better feeling than crushing a workout!!
Try a simple workout, we have plenty that you can try.
Our movement Monday blogs , our free mental health workouts, our explore package and of course our 1:1 services
Get out for a walk, or use a walking pad / treadmill if you can’t get out.
Try something new, like yoga, you don’t have to bend yourself up like a pretzel to be able to do yoga. Check out this Youtube account, she has some amazing yoga sessions and loads of beginner friendly ones.
There’s plenty you can do, but PLEASE.
KEEP IT SIMPLE!!
If you need accountability and some support to achieve your goals, it would be highly recommended that you work with us!
Enjoy the rest of the day!
Keep safe and keep on smilingggg!
Love
